The stain on this log home had significantly faded away do to long term weather exposure.  Most probable was likely a breakdown of finish caused by UV rays.  The solution was a simple cleaning and reapplication of stain.  Should the work have been postponed even a few years, the protective finish would likely have completely broken down leaving the wood vulnerable to decay.  (Scroll down for photos)
