The decking is of clear Cedar, pre-stained on all four sides to provide the greatest protection and to greatly prevent warping.  The decking was further installed with no exposed fasteners partially out of a visual preference but also to facilitate a better effect when the time to sand and refinish comes.  Architect Vince Carlson designed the deck to flow and follow the natural contours of the site through a multi-level, tiered deck concept.  Multiple areas of seating are possible and the transition to the poolside area below is natural and easy.  Finally, a custom archtop door to the poolside storage caps off the custom feel of this elegant installation.
